Advantage Gym Sports – Statement 23 March 2020

NEW, the next steps are being implemented to reduce the risk of coronavirus virus spreading.

Following the latest statement from the Victorian premier (23/03/20) Stage 1 of a shutdown of non-essential activity is active from midday today. Businesses that must close in this stage includes gym, and indoor sporting venues. Thus, from noon today Advantage Gym Sports will be closed, no classes will be run on the premises and will be suspended until further notice.

As Ang, told us we were never sure which day would be our last day together in our “home” at AGS. Congratulations on your performances yesterday, you put forward a fantastic celebration to our community, THANK YOU!

We have been planning online training and documents detailing this will be coming out in the next 24 hours. If you are unable to join us in online training, we encourage you to keep up your general fitness. If you are interested in participating, you must read through documents that will be posted to TeamApp.

If you are interested in collecting items from athlete’s tubs stored at AGS or taking a tub home, please contact us to check that a member of staff is available to open the gym. I will be in the gym until 1pm today 23/03/20 and I am available tomorrow 24/03/20.
